Volunteer Roles for Independent City
Station Characters: Station Characters staff the different stations in the simulation, such as Money Matters, Employment, Housing, Childcare, Grocery & Nutrition, Health & Wellness, Transportation, Utilities, Community Resources, Public Safety, and Temptation Alley.
City Guides: City Guides are paired with a group of young people and assist them in preparing for the simulation and serve as a resource while they are navigating the city.
Life Skills Challenge: The Life Skills Challenge provides a hands-on experience for young people to learn and practice life skills, such as writing a check, addressing an envelope, ironing clothes, sewing, tying a tie, measuring food for a recipe, etc.
